A great friend and commercial photographer Vegar Abelsnes invited Miles & Miles to be a part of a project for his long-term client, Go RVing. His plan was to bring a team of content creators along for an authentic RV trip in Southern California for 4 days and capture it in as many mediums as possible. We were to capture the trip from our own perspective and contribute regularly to the Go RVing Instagram account.

We met in L.A where Go RVing was kind enough to set us up with a brand new F350 Super Duty with a 39ft toy-hauler loaded with a Yamaha ATV and dirtbike. Remember, we’re used to sleeping in the back of our Toyota Tacoma, so this was quite the contrast. We were driving the “Rolls Royce” of pickup trucks and, in terms of square footage and amenities, we had our east village apartment in tow. We put our new rig through its paces from the sand dunes of Pismo Beach to the very top of Balch Park, all the way to Mono Lake and Bodie Ghost Town.

Team Vegar created 12 separate stories for the launch of Go RVing’s new video microsite as well as delivering over 5700 stills, material for 2 30sec broadcast pieces, and posted over 130 images to 90K+ followers on Instagram. See the links below to see related content and learn more!
